I grew up in Finland, running in nature and going to sauna. Wellbeing was a way of life, not a protocol. Movement and a close connection to nature have always been part of how I live.

After twelve years in the beauty industry, I noticed that we question what we put on our skin, but rarely what we wear against it.

I created NURA to rethink what we wear closest to the body during movement: bringing natural-origin fibres into the performance wardrobe, minimising synthetics and maximising skin comfort and material integrity. For me, health-led means designing with the body first, rooted in the Nordic way of wellbeing I grew up with.

My vision for the performance wardrobe extends beyond materials. It is about the silhouette, the way a garment moves with you and how you feel in it. I want every piece to feel effortless and flattering, beautiful against the skin, with materials that are tested and certified.

Before performance, there is the body. And then there is you, unapologetically yourself.

That is the spirit of NURA.
